On social media, our organic strategy has been turning our iconic red-headed mascot into an everyday user on the platform. On Twitch, this meant turning Wendy into a full blown gamer by streaming titles like Animal Crossing, Fortnite, Super Mario World, Super Smash Brothers, Among Us, Fall Guys and NBA 2K. That’s how we organically broke into the top 1% of Twitch streamers and got thousands of engaged, loyal followers.

I’m particularly proud of our Mario Kart stream. We built 8 different race tracks in a real Wendy’s dining room. The stream had 1.2 million viewers and over 40,000 concurrent viewers (we could have filled Madison Square Garden twice), we walked away with one of the biggest brand streams of all time and thousands of new followers in just 2 hours.
