Wendy’s was launching their latest breakfast sandwiches in their successful venture back into the breakfast category for QSR. They offered their new Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit for just $1.99. With a breakfast sandwich this buttery and rich, it was a way better deal than buying Gamestop stock, crypto and your company 401K combined. So we introduced Tim Butters to educate our fans on the economically delicious breakfast deal.
And for those with enough capitalist savvy, we utilized the trend of roleplaying groups on Facebook to get our fans to join our organization for giveaways, deals and some fun with the $1.99 Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit. We ended the activation with a group of over 200 active “employees” who loved the deal so much that they’d climb a corporate ladder for it leading to one of the most engaging social activations Wendy’s has had on Facebook.

We had an application that people would use to apply for the group in conjunction with proof of purchase.
If their application was the apex of excellence, we would then invite them in where they would be prompted to engage in corporate activities.
And we’d encourage them to channel their newly found corporate ethos and share some of our corporate memes.
And we made a nice wrap up video which we sent to each employee to commemorate the birth, life and death of the fakest company that the realest deal in fast food breakfast could ever hope to inspire.
